This two story branch bank of 9900 square feet is located on Berryessa Road near Capital Avenue in San Jose. The Facility included drive-up and walk-up windows, one of the first Versatellers, and complete alarm systems. The architectural style was adapted specifically to blend well with the surrounding shopping center. Completed in 1978, this was the first Bank of America branch designed under new State energy regulations. Unit costs were 15-20 percent lower that other banks being constructed at the time.
